This is how we know you're shit. Samus can't spam if you just power shield all her projectiles. She can't even fucking run away from you because of her shit mobility. Let's not forget her awful grab and throws, only one of which is good, and only at lower percentages to allow you to combo.

D3 at least has it better than the bottom-of-the-barrel characters like Jigglypuff and the Miis. Samus and Dedede are both heavily lacking. The thing is, the only reason D3 isn't better than Samus is because he has a bigger hitbox and is more easily comboed. Samus' charge shot is stopped by projectiles that wouldn't even reflect gordos.

At least Dedede has viable kill options.

It's the only character I really like. Charizard and Ike are fun, but I can't get into them like that. Make no mistake about it, I'm aware I sometimes lose just because Dedede sucks. I've come to accept that. Not every MU is super hard, but his MU's against Samus, Pac-Man, Sonic, Bayo and Mega Man are awful. DDD/Mega Man is legit one of the worst MU's in the game. It's not a matter of "hey man, just gotta learn the MU, get good, etc." No. It's just sometimes impossible. You take the best Sonic in the world and put him against the best Dedede in the world and you get a decisive victory. Not because the Sonic player is more skilled, but because of the balance and design. That's bullshit. I refuse to succumb to the derp. I wasn't aware of how bad he was when I started playing him.

You don't know anything about Dedede. You don't know the struggle. You don't know how a Dedede approaches a Samus. No, Dedede isn't better than the Mii's or Jigglypuff. She has air mobility. For being a heavy, Dedede gets none of the benefits every other heavy does simply for being a heavy.

I main heavy weight characters, you dumb shit. I know "the struggle". My go-to is fucking GANONDORF. I also play Charizard, DK, D3, Samus, and Ike. It's not hard to powershield projectiles. Especially not Samus', since her charge-shot doesn't even break shields, even if they fuck up the power-shield.

Even then, King D3 has great aerials, 4/5 of which are kill-moves, and 2/5 can combo. Samus has 1/5 for a kill move, 2/5 can combo, and she doesn't even have a real way to get back to the ledge if there's a Diddy/Sheik up there.

All you have to do is time your shields correctly. It won't save you against real assholes like Cloud, Bayonetta, Sheik, or Diddy, but it will very much save your life against Samus, Pac-Man, Palutena, Link, and Mario/Doc Mario

I'm willing to accept that I can be wrong or that I'm not that great with D3. What I'm not willing to accept is you telling me Dedede has good approach options on Samus. It's not happening. Usually, I can accept that I just don't know shit about a certain MU. I've fought a lot of Samus players and it's the same shit. It's always hard to approach. It's a fact. All I'm saying is that the MU is shit (not on the level of Bayo/Dedede, but you know) and Samus players are shit.

Samus has nearly just as hard of a match up if you learn to power-shield her shit. Again, it immediately dissipates the projectile and lets you keep approaching. While she is a bit better up close, she has far worse kill options, meaning D3 can EASILY hit 150% against her, from which he can kill her starting from 60%.

None of the low tiers have an easy time. That's what makes them low tier. You often have to put in far more effort to get just as far as someone using a high-tier. The only real exception is probably Diddy Kong and Rosalina and Luma, since they take a ton of effort to get real good with.

I can't help but get bored of a character after playing them exclusively for about a month. Right now it's Kirby. Before that was Dark Pit. Before that was Captain Falcon, and before that was Bowser Jr. When I drop a character and pick up a new one, I'm absolute dogshit terrible at the previous character. However one character that i have been playing since the beginning is Zelda, so her I guess.

my former acquaintance was a dedede main. he kept trying to come onto my girlfriend despite him having one.
