They have yellow eyes with pupils that shift between vertical or round to maximize light exposure, which is creepy, but not bulging.

Also nothing makes them inherently ugly. But Geralt's hair got fucked during his trial of the grasses and he has the freaky eyes, plus he's a tall, muscular guy with lots of scars so he looks scary.

Barely, and they only managed that because the first time they had the mages on their side (which since Thannedd they don't have anymore) and because the kings managed to stick together for a brief while (which by the time TW2 begins they aren't likely to do - Kind of Aedirn is an absolute loser and his son is a cunt, and they fail to even secure their own kingdom. Henselt is obsessed by retaking upper Aedirn again. Foltest is too busy dealing with civil war his dick caused. And Radovic is going mad.

Killing them individually is pretty easy, especially singe Lodge is actually on board with the idea of regicides and willing to help.
Plus, killing the kings is only half the plan. The other half is causing the remaining ones to go at each other's throats while implicating Lodge in the process, thus preventing PRECISELY the two things that broke their previous plans.

That said, Letho's motivation is a lot more complicated than it seems. That is what is so damn good about him and the final confrontation.
You really need to read between the lines in what he says.
He isn't honest about his own motivations even to himself.

In a bubble 2 is fine, great even, has a good world, good story, good characters, had pretty mind blowing graphics for 2011 and the combat was good enough, but as a game about Geralt the Witcher it fails, its too political, hes forced to make choices he never would have made, when Geralt is given the choice of either Roach or Iorveth the pre Ciri Geralt would literally have run away from that entire situation and just fucked off with Triss.

Thats why the first Witcher game is so good, the story is rooted in things Geralt is personally invested in, namely the desire to fuck up Salamandra for killing Witchers at Kaer Morhen and wanting to retrieving the Mutagens. Also the stories within the acts do a really good job of show casing what being a Witcher in the books really was like, especially Act 2 which had barely any combat and was mostly about detective work.
