Sonic Mania.

Not the game itself, as I'm enjoying the shit out of it, but Gamestop's direct code purchase of the digital version which kept getting hit by delay after delay.

Eventually, I got sick of it, refunded the pre-order, and just bought a Nintendo eShop card from the local drug store and used that to buy Mania directly.

Guild Wars 2. Preordered it 2 years in advance, bought the 80$ version. GW1 Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North were all amazing, thought GW2 would be just like that.

They bastardized everything. Took away Alliance battles and all kinds of fun PvP battlegrounds style games. Went with the Open World Massive 100v100 meme.

PSVR

I enjoy the AAA releases for the PSVR but they are few and far between, my major problem is unlike most gamers I detest the indie PSVR games which doesn't leave me with much.

Apart from RE V and Until Dawn ROB I have been massively underwhelmed with the PSVR so far.

I've heard very good things about it from PSVR Reddit but haven't played it myself so I can't help you with that.

It's a game that comes up a lot on the must play lists along with Superhot.

Couple of years ago my firends got really into CS:GO and convinced me to buy it, even though I really wasn't interested. Played a little and realised, as I had suspected, it just isn't for me. I'm not a fan of mechanics like no ADS, the economy system, or recoil patterns. Sure I could try and adjust, but it just didn't seem worth the effort.

Styx Shards of Darkness

Played the demo and thought it was a great little stealth game with an interesting world to explore, bought the game and found the following.

It's extremely repetitive.
The stealth system is broken.
The maps repeat themselves.
The game is no fun after a few missions.
The guards can see you from a mile away and shoot you dead with an arrow.
You can rarely use your special skills.
Jumping between ledges mostly ends in you plummeting to your death.
The death sequences are annoying and frequent due to the nature of the game.

I could go on but essentially I gave up after the 3rd mission and plan to trade the game in.

She played this game for a couple of hours at most I was doing something else at the time looking up occasionally, anyway she got to a point in the game which I thought was going to be the part of the game that the game kicked in little did we know that the game just suddenly ended WTF?!?

So yeah another walking simulator with an adult theme which essentially was just you walking around a shit tip which is what's left of an asylum, you discover some tapes and interact with a few things some more 'artistic' cut scene more scenes, you see some gross shit with a labotomy procedure and then more aimless walking around and you're fucking done!!

What a piece of shit game that was and worse my girl defended the fucking game lads!

I would rate the game at least 4/10 at the most but she said she had no regrets and enjoyed it..

I bought some Yonder game on PS4 a couple weeks back thinking it'd be a comfy Harvest Moon type game

Immediately upon starting I saw "made with Unity" and immediately got a bad feeling.
It was so fucking boring, literally just task list: the game. Graphics were pretty in that they're like wind waker, though the models suck ass. Gameplay feels unpolished as fuck and the UI looks like some Fisher Price bullshit with cataracts font.

I just traded it into GameStop and got something else while it was at the peak amount for what I'd probably ever get back for that shit.

Nigga the Witcher 3 is another shining example of why the West should just stop making games if they're not going to be creative. Shit brought nothing new to gaming, nothing memorable, just another game with button mashing Ass Creed or Batman AA gameplay. Pre-ordering Defiance + Season Pass. Had a LOT of fun at the start. But as time went by, it all went to shit. The same boring stuff all the time and microtransactions showed up like there was no tomorrow.

Borderlands 2 Season Pass. I thought it was actually going to repeat the goodness of the first Borderlands' Season Pass but nope. Didn't enjoy it one bit.

Until recently, No Man's Sky. But after the latest update, I'm starting to believe the game has a potential to be good.

Early Access to that boring Trove game. It was a piece of shit game at the beginning and it got weird after so many updates. More refined but I still can't stand to play anymore. Ditched it a long time ago.

I don't remember of any other games but these are my biggest regrets.
