Yeah, the game is excellent. Got it day 1, no regrets. Make sure you play the campaign though.

Why is Lawbreakers tanking this hard? I thought it was essentially what Destiny would've been if it were good. P2W lootcrates? I didn't even register the game was made or that it launched, and vids look pretty nice, but the game has already less players than Dirty Bomb

I'd have to say avoid it sadly. The campaign is GOAT. But multiplayer is struggling population wise, and 90% of what is left is carbine rooftop campers who ruin the flow of the game. For $20 I guess I can't argue it's not worth it, but I genueinely think multiplayer is a shitfest best avoided now with how bad the playerbase is.

Even as a F2P game and one I used to be a fan, I refuse to recommend this game even if asked about it. 5 years and it STILL runs like shit, requires overclocking your CPU to even get a stable 144fps despite it looking WORSE than pretty much every other Unreal 3 game.

Tribes had a relatively good playerbase, and it had only hardcore dudebros. That was a different time though and it was F2P I guess.

They should do a F2P "demo" with only a few basic characters and no unlockables to get the playerbase going. I partially also blame Faggy B's involvement, as the target audience are basically the people that know him and hate him the most.

Black Ops 3 is unironically good.

I'm not sure I'm really enjoying Lawbreaker even when every other match has a guy I've played with before. From my experience its overwatch meets titanfall which sounds like normie paradise.

Rainbow Six Siege is my favourite shooter right now. It's got a slower pace compared to games like Team Fortress or Titanfall, but it's so rewarding when you make good plays. Plus, three new operators are being released this summer.

Lawbreakers should have been F2P. At $40 it's competing directly with Overwatch and cannot hope to win as an R vs PG13, 90s-edge-pastiche/parody vs ur-anime, actual-competitive-game vs perfected-skinnerbox.
