MW3 was terrible, dude. It had like 2 or 3 good moments but holy shit every single FUCKING mission was a boring pile of trash. It was nothing but SHOOT YOUR WAY THROUGH 50000 ENEMIES BECAUSE....uhh...well BECAUSE THEY'RE COMING AFTER US!

The rest of the games all had defining purposes behind everything, and the "kill 345589347 enemies wave after wave" missions were actually hype as fuck like the end of All Ghillied Up, fighting in the streets of Washington DC, or retaking the capitol building. Granted a few missions weren't as good like the ending to the war pig section, or the "defend the house" part of MW2 while a slow ass laptop transferred files, but overall the games felt like they had direction. The only time MW3 felt like it had proper direction was probably the NYC section, and only some of it, like the submarine.

On a side note, I think people give Medal of Honor too much shit. It had a pretty good campaign.

MW2 was the best designed COD by a mile. All other CODs were quickly reduced to everyone using the same two guns, same gear and perks. MW2 to date is the only COD MP where almost everything was good enough to use, and anything that a vocal minority tried to decry as "OP" sure a hell wasn't being used a lot.

Years after its release, the MP of MW2 remained very diverse when it came to loadouts. All the other CODs were narrowed down after just weeks. MW2 also had a lot of excellent maps, not just one or two good maps, but almost every map was a joy to play.
