Oh good I don't have to make a thread.

So I am on my 6th or so play through of bb. I wanna talk about some builds.

Str: feels like the easiest and most consistently good throughout the game.

Arc: was tough. Doesn't feel good until you get the good dlc spells. The eye laser is pretty good but I recommend avoiding this build.

Skill/tinge: also kinda tough because guns do shit damage unless you use the huge guns but those require alot of str. I guess the bowblade and chicago are nice but meh. Would pass on tinge build too.

Skill: currently doing a pure skill build and it was ok until I got the blade of mercy. Holy shit dat S scaling with skill. Also, it destroys hunter type enemies or just any smaller enemy that staggers easy. I pushed Maria's shit in by just spamming R1. As good as BOM is though, I just got rakuyo and now the game just feels easy.

So I guess I'd str is best overall, skill bursts into life with BOM but goes overboard with rakuyo. Skip arc and tinge.

I wanna add that arc became decent with a flaming ludwigs but that still felt like more work than just going full str.
