They underestimated players. The game is extremely fun and unique at low skill levels, but the better you get, the more you realize how garbage tier broken high level play is, and has been for half a year already.

Also gear score. To need to get your character to prestige 3 to be viable in the two most popular game modes (elimination and dominion) is extremely discouraging for trying out new characters.

The game is a lot better now.
