Can someone explain the appeal of Skaven to me? I've never particularly liked them apart from when they blow up half their own armies on tabletop. regarding skaven being the most evil race, i think it should be said that they're a bit "better" in some ways than other races.

mainly in that, a beastman would sooner turn your skull into a personal cistern than look at you, a chaos follower would prefer to just add your skull to their skull 401k plan, a dark elf would want to remove the flesh on your skull bit by bit because they'd get off on it, an orc would enjoy bashing your skull to see how far they could get your eyes to pop out, while a skaven's only interest in your skull would be purely for the aesthetics.

you could maybe even cut a deal with them, do a little smuggling, cheese-for-rat trinkets kind of deal. until they betray you. or are convinced youre going to betray them and thus pre-emptively betray you. or until they attempt to demonstrate their appreciation via some very stupid plot that accidentally kills you both.

I owned two rats as a kid. They are actually really cute and like to be petted. Their tails are just weird looking and wild rats are disgusting and spread disease.
They poop as much as any small rodent does. I don't remember that well but I had to change their bedding maybe couple times a week or something.
They are great pets but they only live 2-3 years and often die of cancer. I couldn't get another ones as that was just too short a time. They are also very cheap compared to other rodents, about $10-$20. Get at least two, preferably three. They will get depressed alone.

Not really, the autoresolve is shit on this game, the engine can't calculate the effectiveness of hero units/magic/flying unis or even low unit high hp units effectively.
Now, the problem is that siege battles are shit too and the AI is really passive, so you end up auto resolving a lot more than you should.
The fix should be changing siege battles, maybe removing walls from all but the capitals.
