games with good human shield mechanics?i only know mgs and

GoW used to be pretty fun, the human shields would deteriorate until you were holding a head and a shredded up torso. Not sure if they improved or ruined it in the later games since the last Gears game I played was the second one.

Not him but grabbing a guard as a human shield to drag them away from a patrol is considerably faster than sedating them and sitting through a long animation while they slowly lose consciousness before you can even grab them and begin to move them.
