I loved the boat parts of 4 and rogue but skull and bones kinda looks like a shit mmo. I really want it to be good but what we saw at E3 looked really garbage.

You'd think it'd be easy for Ubisoft to understand that people enjoy using their ship to climb onto other boats and to actually DEPART and explore islands in addition to ship battles.

So fucking stupid. I'm really dissapointed, If you can't explore islands or enter towns, then it's not a pirate game, it's just ship combat.

Well, introducing your big world to explore game by showcasing the 4v4 ship battle with no boarding or any on-foot gameplay is a shit way of doing it. What's the point of playing a pirate-themed game if there's no freedom to pursue adventure however you see fit? Sid Meier's Pirates! is still the king simply because it understood the appeal of being a pirate.

It is real dumb, no boarding was one of the biggest complaints about asscreed 3, but then they put it in asscreed 4. But obviously just having a ship game instead of a full pirate game is easier to make, especially when you already have the code for the ships, so thats probably why they did it that way.

Proper pirate game would be sweet.
