remember too that the original, all cutscenes were done in engine, so what we see in the official vid is what we are gonna get

I think it's actually an example of a good vidya story. It lends just enough context to a simple quest of fighting large beasts. What the fuck do you even want?

REmake is a perfect example of a remake, but let's not get bogged down in semantics.

You don't see many remasters of 5th gen games (with exceptions like Turok), because they've visually aged like shit. 6th gen games lend themselves to both remasters and remakes, but only if done right (still mad about FFX face models)

This is what would be ideal, I really want more collosi, but then bluepoint would have to create a lot of new assets and reimagine the game, the pacing, map, dialogue ect.
Something that they could never do without the original team, which does not exist anymore.
It's not like REmake either, fuedas work is very unique, like the language, atmosphere and art direction.

There's nothing wrong with the ps3 version, which can go up to native 1080p if the xmb is set to it. 720p is fine, though it should have been 60fps at 720p.

PS4 remake will be 1080p too. Without new content or adding the cut content. Full price vs the ps3 HD collection that also includes ico HD for 20 dollars and less. Wow, I love the ps4! For the neogaf drone gamer!

Hopefully they listen to him, SotC is a really liked game and will probably do well in sales, unlike tLG which was just a meme game because it became vaporware.
