its disgusting garbage for people who don't actually like monster hunter. the cartoon style is much less detailed and monsters lose all dignity they have (they look like toon monsters for fuck's sake, now I know how Seto Kaiba felt when his blue eyes turned toon) . absolutely unbelievable that this is coming over before double cross.

Combat is pretty much a shit show. It's a simplified rock paper scissors style pokemon battle essentially. Which makes it lose all feeling of being a Monster Hunter game. At least this is just a spin-off and this isn't the direction the series is going.

The riding was fun and so were the quests I did. My only gripe was that the combat was so different. Coming off a main series game I was disappointed that Stories switched to a turn based system. That's all I was trying to express.

Fucking crapcom fucked this game by advertsing it as "MH for kids" as it scared away loads of buyers and sold horribly for MH's standards (300k in a year). They should hace said it was just a spinoff.
