DF fag here. Played this game recently. Was surprisingly fun for awhile but after about 12 colonists and researching all the useful shit (which there isn't much of), it got INCREDIBLY boring and I haven't touched it since.

One thing that bothered me is how low the population is compared to how long tasks take. It's hard to specialize dudes because there's a ton of different jobs that need to be done.
