Terrible gameplay: Combat feels like they were meant to be played on a console, with floaty movement and aiming.
Generally when fighting enemies, you are meant to take dmg as you can't really dodge large aoe attacks, since you either move too slow or are in small areas.
Enemies are visually the same over and over, mimics, phantoms, big phantoms and phantoms that fly. Generally though, they either run at you, make some aoe psy attack or shoot heat seeking shit at you.
Gun variety is nonexistant, you have 5? weapons total, a wrench, pistol, gloo gun, shotgun, qbeam.
Main story is pretty bland. Outside of a few twists, not much interesting goes on, and the minor details can't support the narrative.
Level design is good but with backtracking and returning enemies to cleared areas, then it quickly becomes tedious to move around. I like how things are connected and how you can fly outside and choose where to return.

Minor gripes for me were also that you have to constantly manage your backpack, and I was playing on nightmare and the way they balanced that was by making every enemy bullet sponges. The game is also still pretty buggy. For example, the quest where you have to wait for an engineer to come open a door every 30 mins never came.

I hoarded so much ammo thinking that there will be a big showdown level like in ss2 and was pretty disappointed to find out that there's like two enemies on the last part of the game. I had around 300 ammo combined for the pistol and shotgun and over 50 grenades
