Most aces turn a lot faster than me so I can't keep up, and if they're tailing me I can never get behind them without going really high up and then turning around.

I came here to say that if you think Ace Combat 4 is the best AC, then I respect your opinion.

But I think it's the weakest game in the franchise from a gameplay and mission variety standpoint. The PSP game Ace Combat X, made on the same engine as 4 is much better in these regards.

Ace Combat 4 is my favorite AC and I dropped X around the 5th mission because I couldn't stand the framerate and poor audio quality.
