first off it's not really much of an armor, it's mostly just chainmail with a coat over the chest area and a steel helmet. (and grass on it's shoulders). and if you want realism then armors the likes of knight or fluted are actually not too far off from what you could have irl, if only more detailed than actual plate armor (unless it was some sort of ceremonial armor or it was a set made for an important person).

You know that room in Drangleic Castle where you have to kill the statue enemies to open the doors? Behind one of them is a ruin sentinel and a hole you can drop in. The armor is down there along with a bonfire and one of the abyss covenant areas. Since you never found it I guess you never fought the darklurker boss either.

In a medieval setting there is a reason to wear 3 belts, if not more, anon.

One to hold the tunic (so pretty much what we still use belts for), another one that is interlaced with your tunic belt to hold the sheathe of your weapon of preference, and one more across your chest to hold a quiver or a hook to attach a shield to.

Besides those three, small belts were used on armor to adjust it according to the needs of the user. That's usually to compensate for padding underneath the armor, iirc

JRPGs have abused them in modern designs, but belts are legit useful because they serve as a string to attach something too, while still able to regulate the length.

Best skeleton armor in vidya. Looks skeletal but also actually functional, and I love the plates and ridges it has. The abs are a bit reminiscent of some Roman armors too, and the Darkwraiths looking like metal or stone bulked up hollows adds to the idea of the Dark empowering and restoring them via the Humanity, playing off of their unique ability and why Gwyn also feared them.
