The honeymoon phase is long over. Even the core playerbase is now quickly dropping off after the eSports meme died and a bunch of pro teams began fucking off. They need to unfuck the game at a fundamental level (everything effectively boils down to Ultimate use, and each character is so limited that they're really just one gimmick and their Ultimate) if it wants staying power.

it literally is though. your draft actually matters, supports are actually fun, heroes get added faster, ults aren't instant win buttons, and it has content updates that aren't just a vessel to add new skins.
