>damage bonus by wielding a one-handed weapon in two hands
>required to wield a one-handed weapon with two hands because you don't meet the STR requirement
Better two-hand that whip for the better moveset with it.
What games offer a fine balance between one-handed+shield, two-handed and dual-wielding?
Defense usually is pointless in most RPGs, so shields are useless
>less dps when dual wielding than one-handed

>By going way above the str requirement you can one-hand a two-hand weapon.
>By going way beyond that you can dual wield two two-handed weapons.

Path of Exile is pretty good about it. Two-handed weapons have more damage, dual-wielding alternates weapons but gives +25% attack speed inherently and shields give block chance, resists, defences and life.
