Tbh I played this on vita, and I think if you turn the difficulty up it's a pretty novel and overall fun dungeon crawler. Experimenting with panty and moe trait setups is pretty nice. The endgame is a massive slog though, not worth redoing each dungeon for the last few monster girls.

How is the main character in this series? I love cute girl companions and all that, but I usually enjoy customizable characters or at the very least silent MCs in my RPGs, but it's not like a rule for me, I might enjoy this as well if it has an interesting lead character.

It's much better than MeiQ, but it's not a hardcore dungeon crawling experience either, it's still quite casual. You do have higher difficulty options as well and it's better balanced, but it's still easy.
