The Last Days, it's on the steam workshop. It's fun. It simplifies certain aspects so it's completely focused on the fighting side of things (which is true to the setting), so I recommend it if you're not bothered by the lack of diplomacy.

It's fun to join a lords army as a normal soldier so you're just another grunt following him around, moving up the ranks and getting given better gear as you perform well in battle

I'm banned

I recently finished my first campaign in Warband. I started off in the Vaegir region, helping the king there. I can't recall why (I started the campaign in October) but eventually I moved to where the sand niggers were and started helping the Sultan. Tried to get it with a hot tan chick, got pretty high approval with her until her father married her off to some fag who already hated me. Tough titties for both of them, because this Emir deserted from the Sultanate and got himself run out of the realm.
By that point I was an Emir myself and lead a war of annihilation against the Khergs, after a guy named Dundush ransacked my first and only fief. I captured him and imprisoned him in my first town that I besieged (Uxhal, I believe).
Eventually I would break off from the Sultans and form my own kingdom, or empire for that matter, the Pax Saoirse. At this point, only the Rhodoks, Swadians and Sultans remained. All three simultaneously declared war on me. First I got rid of the Swadians who were already weak as hell at this point, then took down the Sultans, then it was just me and Rhodoks who controlled about 50/50 of Calradia.
It was at this point that my nemesis, Dundush, had actually escaped from prison and joined the Rhodoks, hounding my efforts to conquer Rhodok territory. Still, marshalling most of my lords to me, I drove them to Jelkala, and planned to besiege them there. Dundush confronted me in the field near Jelkala, but lost. He fled back to Jelkala where only he and his King remained, but we won the siege. And now I control the entire realm.
Not sure what to do now, though.

The game mode is alot of fun if you set your mind to just fucking around and potentially getting a warning/short ban in the end. I have spent time both robbing and protecting the working serfs while slapping the sissies that join up with the typical Lorraine or Lannister fuckboys.
I highly recommend trying this gamemode out.

Working on Blood & Gold: Caribbean, but the main story mode that was in Caribbean should have been added to the "We're sorry" game.

one of the things I don't like about floris after playing it for ~12 hours are the tournaments. But you can customize them the way you want so it isn't a big deal for me. It's a good mod if you don't want to spend hours fucking around with various micro mods and just want to play vanilla enhanced with super steroids, because that's what Floris is basically

You won the game, that's pretty much it. You can still hang around and fight banditos. Or, if you conquered the world for an existing faction, you can always try to rebel and take over. Their lords will probably scattered and will keep defecting anyway

My lesbian warrior queen is currently a Vaegir vassal with several cities and a castle to her name, all ripped from filthy Nord hands. I've taken a Nord, Vaegir, Rhodok and Sarranid wife. Still courting my Khergit and Swadian choices. I'm waiting for Yaroglek to give me the chance to rebel but he loves me so I'm concerned if it will ever happen.

Honestly, any units you control should destroy all other units on the open field, inasmuch as you can actually approach situations tactically, whereas the AI is pretty bad.

That said, in a 100v100 simulation controlled by the AI on both sides, I'll take Swadian knights every time in the open field, and Nord Huscurls every time in a siege.

In my most recent campaign I finished up with a total of 33 vassals that all had 100 relationship with me. By the end of it it was a cakewalk rolling over the rest of calradia.

All the lords would turn up to work on time. No bickering. Calradia was lead into a golden age of functionality and prosperity.

So pretty good yeah.

what's wrong with floris? it's impossible for me to go back to anything more vanilla-ish after getting used to it. i like the bandit hordes (which serve as a nice mid to late game way of rescuing high level troop prisoners instead of having to train them) and big troop trees.

It's touted as "vanilla plus" but is anything but. It has bloated as fuck troop trees that destroy the vanilla feel, retarded animations, and has millions of mods crammed into it. If you want vanilla plus than dickplomacy is the best option.

Managed to capture Dhirim for the kingdom, Harlaus refused to give it to me so I went rogue. Took Dechios and Senuzda and looking pretty strong if a little under pressure. Had enough vassals join me to give away all the villages and castles and the place is often crawling with Lords on patrol, and because they don't have far to travel for feasts usually have full armies which helps a lot.
