Basically they want to leech your success.
It's part of human psychology.
I've got around 50 people who added me after I carried their CSGO games.
An equal or greater number have raged at/kicked me for doing poorly or not following their commands.

Humans are awful; I hate team games.

Somehow that's only happened to me once. What's even stranger, is one of the nicer people I met was through a punishment queue back when DotA2's report system was horrendously abusableI deserved it. And unsurprisingly, the one who raged at me for doing poorly was from LoL.
