Vanquish is probably the best TPS ever made and is a lot of fun. It's a pretty short game though. Gothic 2 is a fantastic RPG with a pretty fun combat system when you get used to the controls/

The big raid bosses that have obvious coop mechanics are alright for teamplay, I've never been interested in soloing something like Bark or Braha

And no, the clash ability showcased in the video is the signature move of that one character, and it's only usable on specific attacks of specific bosses. But you're right about repetition, aside from great combat, story and ost, the game is incredibly repetitive. You can see in the video a ton of different bosses, the game's been receiving updates for years and there's a ton of content, but there's also a good amount of filler garbage, especially in the early game.
