Had Sony not flooded them with a big marketing budget this would have been a largely ignored indie game release like most other indie games unless they catch on and become popular like PUBG or minecraft, but neither of those were marketed before release, they got off the ground on word of mouth. I played it, I liked it, I kept on playing it, I stopped liking it. It's tedious. You do the same shit so you can get resources to do the same shit on a different planet so you can get to do the same shit in a different galaxy.

Anyways, what I was going to say is that with the updates you eventually get your own freighter with it's own crew and everything. And in that freighter you can store your actual ships. So maybe you won't get that samey feeling anymore. Also you can plant automated miners on planet.
