It doesn't become much smoother.

I've actually talked to someone in one of these threads before who said he didn't notice any difference after switching to a 144Hz monitor. Turns out the chucklefuck never changed his refresh rate in Windows and had it set to 60Hz automatically. Wouldn't surprise me if chucklefuck posting his Speccy is guilty of the same thing or just plays games that don't support framerates higher than 60FPS. People who say there's no discernible difference have brain problems. Even moving your mouse around the desktop is noticeably smoother
