I have a question for you though. Are GOG users just plain fucked when it comes to mods? All the mods seem to rely entirely on TML and the faggots making it don't seem to bother with GOG. The only guy who did disappeared without warning 4 months ago and it was never updated to the latest patch essentially making it impossible to use mods with any recent version.

Is there no way around this?

Stuck on Skeletron Prime. I beat the other two already with a skyrail and am doing a ranged run with Calamity. Is there anything else that can help besides getting gud and making a better arena or is there some other tool, gun, or bullet that's effective for this? I was using the Megashark and Onyx Blaster with Ichor bullets.

Yes, and my achievement progress bugged and reset when I had done like 120 quest and I had to redo everything again. I didnt mind too much since I built a specific building (decent looking and with traps for mobs) for each fishing spot.

I personally like building things in this game more than any other ones such as Minecraft or Starbound. The first is ugly and the latter's villagers aren't interesting or useful.

Don't know anything about Calamity or if it changes the vanilla bosses, but Skeletron prime is on the more difficult bosses.
Megashark is ideally the best weapon for fighting him, but the fight is like 90% mobility, focus on the laser first since it is the most annoying, then just play keepaway until he does the headspin attack.
You should have Hallowed/Adamantium/Titanium armor and some wings (you can buy leaf wings from witch doctor as soon as you enter hardmode), stack up on basic buff potions like regeneration, swiftness and ironskin.
Arena isn't necessary really.

Terraria is the proof that sound design matters.
I don't remember any game where sound design is as offensive as in terraria. It's just so fucking bad.

The boss charge sound and player hit sounds are both 0/10.
Though now I remember Settlers 3 death sounds - those were worse than Terraria's shitty sounds.

What the fuck is wrong with you.
You don't even need to make a real arena for that one, just widen up the area , make 2-3 platforms. The first fight will be a little tough, once you kill once it's the easiest shit ever because of the bee weapons, nades can kill him so fast it's disgusting.

The basics for first fight are small arena with platforms 1 at honeyheight, and 2 above at max jumpheight to reach next one, when he dashes you should be jumping to avoid, and getting pot shots.

not at all. Not what I've noticed at least. The health regen is still stupid. Get a heart lantern, fireplace, stand in honey and as many buff potions as possible and you will see how easy the boss actually is. You might have to teleport to the nurse sometime. Also the ice dragon sentries would be the most optimal.

Imps is pretty good yeah. But make a long wooden platform road with 2 roofs with any non platform material and dash away when he's doing the spin attack to the other roof. The skulls can't pass through solid blocks. then just have your imps shoot him non stop. A yoyo would be recommended to use as well since you can attack him whilst you are hiding under the roof.
