Also for Deus Ex, yeah, the prod takes two to down someone unless you hit that sweet spot at around the back of their neck which takes only one. Knowing that sweet spot also helps for melee takedowns since you can also knock people out with one hit using the police baton. Pepper spray is pretty pointless for the most part but I've found it useful for immobilizing people if they're running away to sound an alarm or whatever, just need to be close and quick enough.

Sounds good. Hero needs Spears because Lightning Thrust late-game fucks up Metal King Slimes along with Yangus Executioner. Angelo Swords is because super high tension + Uber Falcon Bladed Falcon Slash. Bows late-game skills are kinda shitty with extremely low instakill chances, but super high tension Multishot can do surprisingly good damage, and super high tensioned Seraph's Arrow can get you a lot of MP back all at once.

It's first person dungeon crawling with you as a Space Marine. Its worth playing through but 100% completion is a grind without action replay codes. Even then it will take you three full cycles to be able to get 100%, but the NG+ sub apps as well as the god-tier rings, make going through again a lot easier.

Nigga using tension is one of the core elements of the game. It amplifies healing too, which most people don't think about. Tensioning up will make bosses a lot easier too. Even then just psyching up once then using a "hit all enemies" move is enough to clear most encounters. You should really use it more often in hard encounters and boss fights.
