it's pretty fun to play if you can put up with the over drawn dialogue and some of the annoying characters. altus games have been pretty good with lore and story telling and have interesting gimmicks and twists in them that make the game pretty fun to keep playing. Catherine and persona 4 are pretty sick

Unique gameplay flow, great aesthetics and atmosphere, endearing characters, memorable soundtracks and, as of P5, really fun dungeon crawling and combat. People also like the waifus, and while I like the social aspect of the game, I do think the dating aspect of it isn't fleshed out enough.

Asking my self the same thing. After seeing it all over /v/ and figuring it was a dungeon crawler, I "borrowed" persona 4 and booted it up. I start a new game, name my character, ect. After 5 minutes of fucking dialogue I unlock the frame rate and start spamming X to get to the combat. After 20 minutes of spamming X I realize that it isn't going anywhere and I close the game. What the fuck /v/

This. Persona 5 had promise by reintroducing actual fucking dungeons and neat gameplay mechanics but they fucked up the pacing so bad it's basically unplayable.
