Same exact card and situation here. Worst case scenario is usually mid settings and 60 fps. It's kind of funny seeing people shitpost about the latest cards and how one of them is garbage because it runs a game at 130 fps instead of 140 on ultra settings with the resolution cranked to 4k.

If you're some graphics whore that gets angry if a game isn't running in 2048p 256 fps with x64 AA and the latest meme tech from NVIDIA or AMD, then you would need the latest cards; but if you're not there's literally nothing wrong with using a card that's still able to display games at a mid to high level still.
