you're gonna start by finding a house, "buy" it, then try to repay nook, that bastard, by swinging trees in hope to find a bag of money.

you can decorate your house, visit other people's town
and the npcs always want you do to something, most of the time "give X to Y pl0x"
check the sky, if you bought a slingshot, you can pop the baloons, they sometimes have good shit
and last, colleting shit by fishing, digging for fossils, etc.
