Yes there are lots but if you want to play shmups then just get MAME and don't bother with the Saturn. There are only a couple of games that emulate poorly on MAME like Guardian Force, the rest work great.

Practically none of them are arcade perfect, they're close but there are always minor changes. At the very least the graphics are generally worse even if the gameplay is not affected. MAME is more accurate, more accessible, has way more games and gives you way more options.

I really wish you could move more quickly in Rayforce. I like the game, but it's so frustrating trying to deal with the enemies that try to ram you when you're so slow and can only shoot directly forwards.

3-5 credits is usually too many especially considering a lot of these games have bombs and heavy rank systems. Comparing 1cc's to gimping yourself in other games is silly, the games pretty much spell out the fact that your runs is irrelevant if you use a credit by not saving your score.

Even though I love Raystorm, it adds to that issue by confining your movement to a rectangle which is at an angle different to the screen. So say you're half way up the screen near the edge, and you need to dodge just a little bit towards the edge of the screen. You're shit out of luck due to the invisible barrier.
