Thing is, most early tests show it isn't performing well in DX12 right now. If it was DirectX 11, you would see it level with a 1080, but not a 1080ti. Drivers and system optimization isn't complete. This isn't news.

It's not a high end killer, and still wont be when drivers mature. I wouldn't say it;s a disappointment, but it isn't what everyone thought it was going to be.

If they're already keeping up with the 1080 they should be really impressive then with the unofficial drivers. They tend to be about 10% faster than the Windows drivers from AMD's official driver team.
