Yes, it's back to the roots, but it uses the Conviction gameplay with little additions, daylight missions, fps segments, it's too fast and lacks the quiet moments of previous entrys. Conviction is better because it was designed as an action game from scratch, not a mish-mash of different mechanics like Blacklist.

GTA V fucking sucked. The worst 3D GTA ever made. Horrible radio stations, shit map, shit gunplay, horrendous characters, fucking awful story and don't get me started on GTA Online.

Nah it was alright, of course if you compare them directly, C47 plays like shit. But new games are supposed to play better. C47 did not ruin any established mechanics and did not introduce unnecessary story arcs about 47 having any feelings. Absolution did it. 47 is nordic, sterile creature, created for one purpose only. Radiostations are completly subjective and gunplay is tge best out of all the Gtas. I also liked rhe map, even though San Andreas being on an Island without San Fuerro and Las Venturas feels really strange. Otherwise I agree. Trevor was the best character out of the three protagonists because he had motives for what he did and why he didn't trust Micheal. All the other characters are uncarismatic and unlikeable and the story is shit. Also the lacking of the GTA IV physics engine took a big chunk of the fun away. Way too much of the fun was dropped for pseudo realistic stuff, which makes the world feel great and gives you the feeling theres always a spot you haven't seen before but makes the game a bit blant.
