Enjoyed it, played halfway through the game before figuring out you could boost your speed in space.
Took forever to catch the satellite.

Honestly it's missing some of the charm of SS2 in terms of the world and characters. Gameplay wise? It's probably better, depends on how much value you put on enemy variety.

I enjoyed this game and payed full price, which i never ever ever do, based soley on the fact that it was optimized. turns out it's pretty fun.

>need to get through big door with ayys on the other side
>survivors will only open it when I provide four turrets

>they give me the code and get ready to fight
>I remove the turrets and open the door

The way the station deteriorates as the game progresses is top notch. I did feel it dragged on a bit too long. Near the end I just pumped all my neuromods into speed and sprinted my way through the main story. The game also had an issue of characters talking to you in person while OTHER characters were talking over coms, so you have to focus on one and drown out the other.

How do you even compare game from 2017 and a game from 1999. Gameplay and graphics, level design are better. Story is not that bad. I'd say it's better than SS2
