I'm afraid SEGA might nuke a bunch of the not-sonic characters out of existence at some point. Blaze would maybe be a casualty. Which would be a shame because I think she should be a character in Mania 2, along with Amy. (If Amy isn't already an unlockable character in Mania).

Also, considering the fact that this is like a Generations 2 and even the Deadly Six are getting some spotlight, it would be a smack to the dick to not at least give Blaze a cameo.

Nah, Blaze is liked by many, and also starred in many games, and was even playable as a main character in two of them. She is probably here to stay, though I could see them re-writing her shit like they tried with Silver.

I think one of the main guys at Sonic Team likes her design a lot too, so even if she got tossed out, I could see them making a replacement for her with a super similar design.

I loved playing as Blaze in the Rush games, she's a tad bit slower than Sonic but you need essentially need her to beat Sky Babylon, fucking fire everywhere and her floating/burst jump come in handy.

I'm amazed sonic games didn't play around with a character who has a double jump and could essentially float/fly who wasn't Knux.
The hardest part about 3D games is keeping from falling off the edges with such squirrely controls. Older 3D games got around this by allowing characters to float/fly so they could gauge their landings before making them.
