Playing Morrowind for the first time as a pure Unarmed character. How fucked am I?

The frustrating part is slowly depleting their fatigue, then slowly punching their hip in while they're lying on the ground. Basically, combat is long and tedious no matter what.

It's satisfying when I'm able to beat the shit out of a heavily armored bandit with nothing but my bare hands and a helmet, but I'm worried about leveling beyond 12. Apparently some enemies scale with your level and my Unarmed damage is fully capped without enchantments (and I don't know how to get better Unarmed enchantments).
