I have a external hard drive plugged in to it and when I was moving out about a month ago I went to unplug it and it bumped the power button right before I did, turning on right as I unplugged it, and then the hard drive was almost corrupted. pissed me off because it took like a whole day to download/install from disc all my games on that thing.

I literally went from ps4 to xb1 this gen purely due to this noise shit. It's beyond awful. Took the fucker apart and reapplied the thermal paste, made no difference. Got a ps4 slim, takes longer but the noise still ramps up eventually. Xbox 1 elite quiet as hell, awesome. Sony can fuck off with that shit.
