It's in game cash, just try it out in sheldon's shop idiot for yourself. It's useful against 1 on 1s and in chokes against chargers and splatlings but pretty much a 2 hit blaster with a little less ink coverage otherwise. The set can still cover a lot of ink in turf wars if you let it.

It's like a blaster, with a shield that also doubles as a curling bomb. I think it has a bit too much going for it, but it fun to play every once and a while.

brella's very strong
good for basically all ranked modes due to having cloud/sprinkler coverage for splat zones, aoe inking/standing on the objective and guarding for tower control and path clearing/bodyguarding the rainmaker carrier

My teammates just won't pick up the rainmaker 80% of the time. I pick it up and charge forward but if I'm not around or splatted they will let a rainmaker with a broken shield just sit in our own base while they charge forward assuming someone else will grab it.
