I would say don't buy it unless you have a big group of friends that play it all the time.

If you do decide to buy it then make sure you save all your points and steam authenticate yourself so when the next wave of crates come out you can easily make back your money by selling them on the market.

I made 20 steam bucks so far and I could have easily made double that if I was steam authenticated the first week the crates came out.

But you can, I bought and refunded Killing Floor 2 and The Long Dark, both with 40+ hours played. When early access games release Steam treats it as a brand new game, it completely disregards the hours you put into the game.

If you've never played H1Z1 or DayZ or The Culling or however many copies of it exist, you might have fun. If you haven't, here's the gameplay loop until you quit playing: land, find stuff, move into the center of the circle and find more stuff until you die/win. That's it. Sound fun? Buy it.
