*TOOT TOOT*
Let's try this again, last night's thread was great. Discuss the upcoming remake of Pathologic, and any and all experiences with the wonderful, horrible world of Ice-Pick Lodge.
Mind = Womb
The town is a network for the transport of blood, ever-flowing.

I've been trying to play Pathologic on a few occasions but I only have time to play infrequently so by the time I eventually come back to it I've lost track of what's going on/what I'm supposed to be doing, it's such a dense game.

And checking your journals and letters don't help?
I know what you mean though, first time I played it I played in bursts as well, was too stressful otherwise.
The thread from last night made me really interested in The Void. Can it run on windows 10? I haven't been able to find anything online about OS compatibility besides people talking about windows 7.
>>387084481
GOG version works fine on windows 10

You're in for a good (bad) time.Expect to have to restart your shit a couple of times, sometimes you won't even know you fucked up until hours later. Save rotation helps to mitigate some of this.
What was the newest game about gnome guys making vehicles? The fuck was that all about i totally disregarded it.

Thanks fampai's

Their newest game is called Knock-Knock and it's a spooky 2D adventure-puzzle game of sorts.
I have absolutely no idea what Cargo was about, I only played the demo and it seemed to lack focus.
i love ipl threads but remember, you can never strike gold twice with these
>>387085554
i think cargo was supposed to be some sort of commentary on fun and video games, it lacked the weird spooky factor pathologic and the void had so i guess it confused literally everyone who was into ipl's stuff at the time
>>387086623
I definitely noticed some gnostic themes in there, seems to be a commonality of their three first games.
Don't you die on me now
I appreciate that the remake will supposedly do something different than the original. I'm expecting a new set of twists and a slightly differently realized plot.
>Was waiting for the remake to play Pathologic "for real"
>realize my computer is still shit and can't really run the remake but the old game is still ready to go
Welp
>>387088375
>tfw youget pozzed by an autistic architect and elites that are all about transcendence and living forever
>>387088490
The old game is still really worth it, if only for the opressive atmosphere of the town itself.I've beaten the game as Dankovsky but I cannot for the life of me fucking remember how the plague is initially beaten. I know that Burakh creates the panacea and I remember that the final day is a day of decision of sorts, but anything before that is a blank. Weird.
>>387088479
It will for sure not be a cookie cutter 1:1 remake, it seems.
>tfw there are still three slavs seeding the bonus torrent for the void from a decade ago
>>387088760
>implying it's not actually IPL themselves
>>387089017
>tfw they only got enough to make the town slightly bigger, not the steppe or that bonus dreaming mode
The dreams especially would've been fucking cool. Can you imagine how metal interacting with a physical manifestation of the plague would be?
>>387089017
>seeder count keeps going up, still exclusively russian
who the fuck are these madmen
>>387089154
it's been a while since i checked but i'm pretty sure they reached the bonus dreaming thing
>>387089154
That would pretty much just entail integrating The Void into Pathologic
>>387089272
They didn't, at least not when it comes to the kickstarter page. Maybe they've achieved it through post-campaign donations though.
>>387089381
they did, they even had kickstarter updates about them

Weird. My mistake then, that's fucking awesome. This game will be amazing once it finally comes out.
