Started playing this today, when does it get bad?

some areas better than others, but its a servicable platformer if you liked B&K, I have no idea why people flipped their shit over this game

The awful minigames.

Literally only because
1. Some bad minigames (Wew every platformer has one)
2. The trivia sections (Which were fucking horseshit and no way you know all the answers unless you were incredibly fucking autistic and counted how many fucking torches were in each room and other fucking obscure shit)
3. The Jontron saga

I do get lost in the world, so I get that complaint. My biggest gripe is how it seems like the world just ends out of bounds, and the skybox looks ugly at times.

But I don't see it as a bad game.

Don't forget

1. Failure to bring many new or interesting ideas to the table with this type of game, feeling stagnant on arrival
2. Blind need to be like banjo kazooie in ways that were never essential to the core genre (IE quiz show)
3. Annoying as fuck writing paired with awful unecescarey voice sounds that completely fail to be endearing like Banjo Kazooie

This game was like a plastic, hollow, off-beat Banjo Kazooie that simultaneously failed to be it's own thing within this genre while also copying the worst ideas over from its source material

I stopped after I got to the Kinect boss in the Casino level. It was infurating and felt impossible to dodge most of the time, and when I almost did beat it the game fucking froze when I paused for some reason.

Its not bad, but alot of the stuff in it feels lazy. I hate the fact that they reuse characters in multiple levels, and the world expanding mechanic is just dumb. It never feels like expanding one world bigger, rather it just feels like Im slamming 2 worlds into one with no connection between them. They should have honestly just made 10 small worlds rather than 5 big ones.

World 3.

Oh and the final world, 5, is literally the first but purple and with water everywhere
