Even if the core gameplay and combat will be good, which it might be, considering that FO4 had some actually decent gunplay, the story, lore and environments will still be dumbed down and boring.

If they'd do Elsweyr, you can be sure the Khajiit will still be the furry humanoids like before, instead of all the many different subspecies that range from kittens to large elephant-sized cats. It will be streamlined to be as easy as possible to make, narrate ("Hi, go kill that and bring me this, thx") and shove down people's throats to make them think that the story wasn't absolutely over-simplified and raped.
I don't even want to think what they'd do to Argonia that could be an awesome trippy experience as the character gets some Hist, mixed with Dementia-like environments. Instead of the varied and interesting civilisation that are the Argonians, we'll get another set of boring cut-out NPCs.

I know it's a meme, but Obsidian should just make another Bethesda-owned franchise game, this time with at least two years of development time.
