That said can anybody tell me the state of dorf fortresses adventure mode? I stopped playing that when thirst and hunger were implemented in such a way as to prevent you from traveling more than two steps on the map before having to reload a smaller map piece to eat and drink. I also remember getting pissed when quests would force me to find a nearly unfindable enrage to sewers that turned out to be broken laberynths of starvation and death.

You don't even need to grind until like final boss of act 2 anyway. Unless you play as some meme shit like fairy or mutant(with max amount of slots so you have 50hp at level 30)
