I agree, I hope it's a spinoff they're going to announce just to play it safe, 6's combat to me felt pretty good in the demo but it definetly needed some tweaking, I haven't played the full game but I have faith in the team that they're going to improve.
I'd first do the spinoff, then remake 2and THEN do Yakuza 7, they'll have perfected the engine by then (I hope)

You can start with the remake, Kiwami, but you have to keep in mind it's the only game that's been remade, so when you move forward to Yakuza 2, you'll be playing the PS2 game. That'll have weird results, going from the original PS2 Yakuza 1 to 2 is a huge improvement, but from your perspective coming from Kiwami, the presentation and combat will be weaker even though the story is a step up.

This would be an easier process if they remake the second game, going from a Kiwami 2 to Yakuza 3 would probably be a smoother transition.

Can you beat Yakuza 0 without fully upgrading the legendary styles? I've already done everything before the cage parts and I feel that my damage might be bit too low, atleast with Majima. Getting 90 CP to break the limit just seems like a massive hurdle I dont think I can pull off.

I finished it on Hard last year and it was fun. I'm replaying it and bosses are barely taking any damage anymore. Just like the damage sponge nonsense in Kiwami. Is it just me? I've never struggled with Kuze before in the history of this game.
