I know people have made up the idea he was the REAL writer of MGS and is a genius and Hideo Kojima is a hack who took credit for his work based on absolutely nothing but a childish mentality of perpetual artist infallibility. An artist that did good can't never do bad, right? If he produces something shit then that must mean all the previous good work he was behind was stolen, right?

The only reason MGS1 and 2 were good. Too bad he couldn't save MGS3 and as a result the series spiraled into MUH JUDO LESBO as the motivation for everything.

It's as if Kubrick suddenly made another movie and it's Cabin Fever. And then he makes another movie and it's Cabin Fever 2.

Just compare the writing and character building (which was done primarily in codec conversations) with the awful shit writing of 4 + 5. It's not even a comparison.

It's literally like the writing and character building of Silent Hill 1+2+3 vs the writing of Silent Hill Homecoming or some other piece of shite.

Kojimbo is literally the George Lucas of vidya games. Has no clue what he is doing and it only worked out in some cases, because the team behind him knew what they were doing.

He's probably the guy that told hideo lucas to tone down the crazy ideas and after george kojima had him killed the games went further over the top. I can only imagine what the equivalent to the cgi singing alien would be in the mgs1-3 reimaginings.

Kubrick's late career work WAS nowhere near as good as his early career work. Nobody then went around declaring Kubrick a fraud and hunting for the REAL talent behind the good films.

This crap with Kojima is the irate delusions of a rabid fanbase who was disappointed by someone they foolishly declared a genius. Nothing more.
