There are multiple variations. It's all Welsh regardless and Gwyn is the male form while Gwen is the female form. While it makes Gwynevere's name wrong when given some thought, Gwyndolin becomes ironically apt.

Not him but I get what you mean, aside from the Garl Vinland theme I have a hard time enjoying most of the songs in DeS outside of playing the game.

Does anyone know why this is? I think it's because they didn't use a full orchestra until DaS and that DeS was made in just a DAW or something but that's just conjecture that seems only half true.
