What games have the best or worst jumping?

Painkiller for best jumping. Worst jumping I'm inclined to say System Shock 2, it felt really off but I haven't played many game.

These games are the ones with the worst jumping, because all it serves is to piss you off. Doubly so if you can't get past an obstacle that your character can easily clear.

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance is fucking awful

It usually acts like it would in any other matroid-like Castlevania, with the ability to change direction mid-jump, double jump, etc. But if you swing your whip at ANY point during your jump it completely locks you into an uncontrollable jump arc reminiscent of Castlevania 1 and the like.
