I'm highly interested in trying to stream. I have a very capable 6-core / 1080 PC but a very shitty internet connection with 2.2/1.5 speeds. my connection struggles with playback over 480p.
What do I need to stream games? I tried 1080p which worked but ended in heavy shutter for the viewer as well as for me (The person who told me had a 16 M connection). Which settings should I use and which resolution?
Also, should I use another dedicated PC for the streaming task? It shuttered even on my high performance system. I have another system which I use as a HTPC, but it has a i5-3550 with 6 GB RAM, it is my personal homeserver.
I don't plan to become famous, I just want to test it and hope to find some people to play MEAMP with.
Otherwise, I might get a 20 M connection (LTE) early 2018, could this handle 4K streaming? Youtube uses around 22 MBit/s for 4K videos at 60 FPS and the quality is decent.
(If this is the wrong board, please tell me the right one, this thread would become teared down on /g/ *inb4 gaymer*
Don't bother streaming unless you are funny or exceptionally good at games.

Or a porn star, or cute, or nice booboos.
dont even try unless you are a girl

>all the biggest most popular streamers are guys
>grills don't even come close in terms of viewers
what did you mean by that?

The second applies, I think I am really good in MEAMP, I grind Platinum and carry rounds. Unfortunately there is a join bug which lets you wait 30 minutes until someone joins and its often Russians and lowlevels, so its no fun. I hope to find some people, maybe a group. I was part of a "clan" like community in ME3, but it doesn't exist anymore. We often did "challenges", missions that seemed impossible but we did them.

Also I just want to see what happens. I have a "Youtuber" friend who invests a lot of time into it, but he doesn't get any views. I got more views on my recent ME3 videos (and no one watches ME3 videos), he does Let's Plays of current AAA titles, while I just record my regular rounds and put them online.
He streams for a quite long time now, but NO ONE watches his streams. I'm not sure if the people don't like his voice or its the games (but I don't think so as he plays popular games).

I don't want to discourage you but if you think people are gonna want to sit down and spend their time watching someone play Mass effect Andromeda then go for it. But as someone who knows nothing about the game, you better have riviting commentary or it's gonna get boring fast.

Just pay PUBG or HS and act autistic as fuck and fire shots at other popular streamers for e-fame. EZ
Jesus are you so braindead that you can't google twitch broadcast requirements? Anyway I'll be nice and help a retard out, Twitch doesn't allow for a bitrate higher than 6 megabits per second and they recommend that it should be higher than 3. So no you can't broadcast a good stream with your shit third world connection but you will be able to with 20 megabits

I aim for someone who knows the game.

As I stated, I don't want to become famous or earn money by it.

I seek for real life experiences. Twitch says you need 3 MBit/s, but the person could watch my video with 1.5, so I assume its somehow possible. I just want to make it fluently. It also lagged FPS wise, so I'm not completly sure if it was my connections fault. The FPS lag decreased when I turned down to 1080p (I play in 2160), is it my CPU? It was BF1 SP.
