Played it when it came out for a while and it never really clicked with me. Picked up paladins recently and it was dramatically more fun. Didn't realise why until I noticed that the smaller more linear maps in paladins gave me the same feel as overwatch.

All the overwatch maps are cramped corridors where both teams just sort of mush together. It's not fun, at least for me. Paladins has lots of big open maps that feel much better. Try it instead. If you hate paladins, you probably won't like overwatch either and will have saved yourself some money.
