Hair will probably be your biggest limiting factor for trying to recreate specific people, depending how distinct their hairstyle is. Could a fan of this game explain where they derive fun from it? I never really was able to get into it. Yep, there are more vampire sims who don't have in-game homes but will pass through the town or visit the park, but that's all you actually get in-game. The vampire characters and skill trees for them are pretty nice, one of the best things they've done for Sims 4, but overall it's really disappointing. One supernatural type, a small town, etc.

Sims 3's kinkyworld has more features but a lot of it is kinda janky and it removes all the normal woohoo options and some other things which is kinda lame. It does let you be a whore for money but brothels are locked behind patreon version. There is a lot of stuff tied to the mods skills which kinda makes it grindy unless you use the debit stuff. I think the focus on realism doesn't fit the aesthetic of the game, like growing weed plants and disabling vanilla woohoo locations and animations and having to grind exhibition and social networking to become a call girl.

Sims 4's wicked whims doesn't have as much features but it seems more stable and doesn't fuck around with the games vanilla features? It also seems to have more animations and varied animation locations. Also the Sims and the game in general looks kinda better.

I hate when mods have obvious boundaries and the mod author decides to randomly go beyond that for no real reason. Especially when that needlessly fucks up compatibility. Weed doesn't even do anything meaningful, you just sell it for extremely easy cash.

Overwatch has it's uses, it does deal with quite a few bugs, but in regards to fixing performance I question how effective it is. If anything it seems to make the performance worse for me. It mostly seems to want to "clean" things but it's kind of just guessing how things are working under the hood so there's no real guarantee it's even doing anything meaningful, much less being helpful. For example, Overwatch likes to "clean" cars and the way it does this is to remove extraneous vehicles. How it defines extraneous I have no idea because some sims it never touches and other sims it takes their car every single night and the next day the game has to give them another one. That's simply a performance hit, not a improvement, for me as well as creating the ridiculous situation where everyday the neighbors are driving a new car. It also likes to turn off radio and tvs in inactive houses but the game already does that, it just seems to makes that clean happen more often is all. And I have no idea why the fuck stuck check auto-reset defaults to enabled, it's way overboard with the false positives. But heaven forbid you ever question Nrass mods, apparently they were created by an infallible god and not just someone fumbling in the dark.

one thing sims games has always suffered from was like if you only have a household of 1 or 2 sims they end up spending 90 percent of their time just standing around doing literally nothing while they waiting for the player to tell them that they are about to starve to death and smell like shit.

I have mixed feelings about this
On one hand I really loved the feeling of freedom it gave you, especially in places like Bridgeport where you could just walk around the city at night. On the other hand, even disregarding performance issues it just didn't work well. Community lots were always empty, and the horrible pathfinding made actually going anywhere in a timely manner impossible. I ended up just teleporting everywhere most of the time. It's also awkward when you have multiple sims in a household but you only take one or some of them out somewhere, you need to keep tabbing back home to keep those sims happy and it stops me just enjoying taking the sims out because I have to babysit the others too. Better autonomy would go a way towards fixing this but I feel like open world just doesn't work with the Sims.

I've never experienced this. My only complaint in regards to autonomy, and I use the turn complaint loosely as what I would like is no small feat, would be sims are reactionary, not predictive. Sims are perfectly capable of looking after themselves, providing they have the means to do so, and only seem to stare off in space when they have neither a social or fun option available and nothing to clean, which seems to be what they favor when they have no pressing needs. Obviously traits apply. Where I take issue is they largely just want to fill whatever need is the strongest which may not necessarily be the smartest need to fill. For example, if they need to go to work in an hour and also need to eat, piss and shower the most sensible thing to do is shower because you can eat and piss at work. They will almost certainly eat first, then piss, then shower. They do do some slightly predictive things though, like if it's late at night and they have no pressing needs they might elect to go to bed early rather than mill about waiting for the sleep need to increase to a high enough level.

The game does seem to want to leave sims you are controlling right at that moment alone. Like if you have three sims in a house and all want to fulfill a social need the two sims you aren't controlling seem to favor interacting with each other over than the player controlled sim. Same rules apply to the rest of the sims in town too. I can only assume that's intentional so the player isn't constantly having to ignore sims trying to talk to them and shit but it also means you kind of have to play proactively.

I hate how modern sims tries to be fancy and 'modern' with the clothes options and shit
