He's slightly above balanced.
Doomfist in the right hands can easily wipe teams and be a dominant member of the game, however he is easily countered by quite a few of the cast.
Though, Doomfist is extremely powerful on smaller maps, usually in corridors or in smaller areas where snipers or mid range heroes can't flourish as much.

He has a huge hitbox with not enough HP to cover for it. He should've been an offensive tank kinda like roadhog. He's also too dependent on his abilities so the moment a sombra hacked you you're done

Pretty OP

If he's in a map with tight corridors everywhere and is in constant ability to get close to the enemy team, he's pre-nerf Roadhog levels of stupid. If he's in a map with open space (most especially no ceiling), he's a bullet magnet that can't eat all that he takes and dies to shit like Sombra TP and Tracer dancing around him. Literally the most situational character. Most especially because he can't instant kill fatties like Roadhog and Dva, so he isn't just free kill city at melee range.

Depends on the stage. He's god-tier on Hanamura (and most capture maps in general), but struggles on larger, open stages (R66 comes to mind). Does really well in those 3v3 stages (Ecopoint Doomfist is terrifying).

People keep comparing him to pre-nerf roadhog but the thing is he has to expose himself to one-shot you. Roadhog pulls you to him which is advantageous to his team. Doomfist makes a noise before he punches, roadhog's hook is instant.

Doomfist is easy to kill and dodge if you don't suck.

Doomfist has so many counters, it makes him completely nonviable in anything serious, because all you need is a half-decent McRee or Pharah to just completely shut him down.

OHKO is fine, it's just that the hitbox of the rightclick is waaay too large. Tune that down and maybe raise his cooldowns a bit 2 seconds max and he's fine.

Playing as a support, he's a nightmare. Playing as damage he's mostly a joke unless you're unfortunate enough to get punched into a wall. Playing as a tank he's a complete joke.

More or less he's just another flavor of Genji/Tracer, but he trades most of their effectiveness for having the potential to one shot people before they can do much.

Anyone else notce how strange doomfist looks compared to the rest of the cast?
Compare him to Mei that looks like a "cute" character from an educational game.
Then doom fist looks like something from generic iron age fantasy or diablo.

He has 3 abilities that give him movement and do damage
Reaper has teleport which is slow and loud as fuck for a flanking character and a passive which makes him invulnerable to make him escape but you don't really make it out of danger since anyone chasing you will kill you anyway because it only lasts like 4 seconds
All of df abilities give him shields on top of already doing damage and lots of mobility and are on very short cool downs, has an ultimate that can't be stopped and is basically just free kills
And can even save him if he is falling
Yeah no it's fucking bullshit and it only takes him like one second to fully charge his 1 shot abilitiy

No other hero has 3 abilities that cause damage(and knockback)
On top of that he has a one shot ability on a 4 second cooldown
The only other 1 shot abilities are scatter arrow and reins charge and both of those are on a 10 second cooldown
